Research Scientist | Medical Technology
Research Fellow
Healthcare Technology Innovation Centre
Indian Institute of Technology Madras, India
Over the past seven years, I have collaborated with industry and various research centres on developing research-driven engineering solutions for medical technology. These projects have spanned engineering research, design and development of electronic systems, functional prototypes, and the formulation of algorithms, along with their verification and validation, specifically for healthcare applications in general and cardiovascular in particular.
This extensive and collaborative effort has culminated in the filing of 2 patents each in India, US, and EU, and the publication of over 45 peer-reviewed scientific articles.
During my PhD tenure at IIT Madras, my work primarily focused on preventive cardiology, developing instruments, algorithms, translational technologies, verification, and validation – in-vitro, ex-vivo, and in-vivo studies on animals and human participants.
